Scholarship for Student Athletes
The Jordan Sidoo Scholarship for Student Athletes provides scholarship funding to those who are in school and planning to do so while playing a sport. Mr. Sidoo has personal experience with the difficult road that student athletes have ahead of them when it comes to both their studies and finances and he wants to give back in whatever way possible to our next generation of athletes.
The Jordan Sidoo Scholarship for Student Athletes is open to all university students in the United States who will be playing a sport for their school while undergoing their studies. This scholarship is also open to high school students who will be attending a university and with intentions to become a student athlete. Mr. Sidoo knows the burden placed on students who have many years of schooling ahead of them combined with the physical strain of being an athlete, and this is why he wants to reward a star student athlete with $1,000 towards their tuition.
Jordan Sidoo was an avid athlete in high school and in college. Jordan attended Saint George’s Academy located in Vancouver, where he graduated with honors and participated at Saint Georges in a variety of sports, one of which being soccer. In college, Jordan found even more success in sports, and today he enjoys traveling to follow his idol Ronaldo in soccer.
Jordan Sidoo understands from first hand experience that it is a difficult road ahead for student athletes. Having made it through to the other side, he wants to give back to the next generation of student athletes with this scholarship fund. Mr. Sidoo understands how the continually rising costs of education, especially for students involved with athletics, put an undeserved strain on those students who must focus on both academic and physical obligations. Because of this, Jordan Sidoo would like to give an opportunity to a deserving student athlete with a $1,000 scholarship award. Through this scholarship, Jordan hopes to not only raise awareness for the financial struggles of students who are also involved in athletics, but also help out one of our future student athletes of America.
